Job Description Job Description CDL-A Team Drivers - OTR & Dedicated Routes Available We are currently seeking experienced Class A CDL Team Drivers to join our growing team. Opportunities are available for both Over-the-Road (OTR) and dedicated lane positions . In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a semi-truck with a 53-foot trailer, maintaining compliance with all DOT regulations while transporting freight with a gross vehicle weight (GVW) of up to 80,000 pounds. Compensation & Benefits * Competitive pay: $0.65 per mile (negotiable) * Newer equipment, well-maintained * Driver-focused, supportive work environment * No forced dispatch * Approximately 90% no-touch freight (minimal unloading required) * Good home time Qualifications * Minimum of 2 years of experience in truck driving or a related field * Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A) * Ability to perform physical tasks associated with the role * Strong work ethic and commitment to safety * Reliable and dependable * Effective communication skills Key Responsibilities * Safely operate a tractor-trailer in accordance with all federal, state, and company regulations * Accurately maintain activity logs and required documentation * Promptly report any incidents, issues, or maintenance concerns to dispatch * Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle Company Description SAMAR Logistics Inc. is a licensed freight carrier headquartered in Rockwall, Texas.
