About the Job The Google Public Sector Security Sales Team promotes cybersecurity solutions to U.S. Federal Civilian customers and Federal Systems Integrator partners. The team identifies security challenges and guides customers toward improved cyber maturity, focusing on products such as Chronicle, Mandiant, Virustotal, BeyondCorp Enterprise, and Security Command Center Premium, as well as consulting services. It also serves as subject‑matter experts in securing cloud environments, helping federal customers modernize their applications and workloads. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience. 12 years of experience in general management with a focus in business and market operations. 4 years of experience with people management. Preferred Qualifications Experience in both Federal and SLED businesses. Experience working with channel partners and understanding of a channel‑centric go‑to‑market approach. Knowledge of procurement models unique to the public sector. Ability to influence and manage in a programmatic manner cross‑functional teams, including product management, to support the business. Top Secret security clearance. Responsibilities Evaluate and restructure the team as needed, bringing in new talent at the required levels to build, grow, and manage a large book of business. Lead and implement Public Sector‑focused go‑to‑market propositions within the Security Portfolio by working with Marketing, Demand Management, Customer Success, and Product and Engineering teams to produce a focused proposition. Work with multiple cross‑functional teams to ensure product market readiness, policy alignment, marketing, multilayer channel strategy, and enablement. Develop the sales organization and ensure forecasting accuracy and contribution to both new bookings and business. Provide strong visionary leadership of where the Workspace related market is going in the future and how Google Public Sector supports external customers. Compensation and Benefits US base salary range for this full‑time position is $163,000–$232,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits. The range reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all U.S. locations; individual pay is determined by location and additional factors such as job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
