This opportunity is being offered by Staffmark to qualified candidates.Job DutiesReceive, inspect, count, and verify incoming inventory and materials.Record inventory transactions accurately in the warehouse management system (WMS) or inventory system.Perform cycle counts and physical inventory checks to maintain inventory accuracy.Investigate and report inventory discrepancies, shortages, overages, and damaged materials.Properly label, organize, and store inventory in designated locations.Track the movement of products and materials throughout the warehouse.Prepare inventory reports and maintain accurate documentation.Assist with picking, staging, and shipping activities as needed.Communicate inventory issues or discrepancies to supervisors and other departments.Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse policies.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.Perform other duties as assigned.Education RequirementsHigh school diploma or GED preferred unless otherwise specified. Additional education, certifications, or vocational training may be beneficial depending on the position.Experience RequirementsPrevious warehouse, inventory, logistics, or distribution experience preferred. Basic computer skills and the ability to learn inventory/WMS systems. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to perform basic math, including counting and verifying quantities. Good organizational and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the workday. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, depending on business requirements.Preferred SkillsExperience with RF scanners or handheld inventory devices. Experience with cycle counting and inventory reconciliation. Previous experience in a high-volume warehouse or distribution environment.
