Senior Auditor

JCW Group is partnering with a leading regional financial services organization to hire a Senior Internal Auditor for its growing Internal Audit team. Key Responsibilities: Execute complex, technically advanced audits across corporate functions, including finance, accounting, compliance, legal, HR, marketing, security, facilities, and corporate real estate Assess enterprise risk, operational risk, and third-party risk, and evaluate the effectiveness of key controls Develop clear findings and practical recommendations to strengthen policies, procedures, and operating efficiency Evaluate compliance with applicable laws and regulations and help assess the impact of upcoming regulatory changes on the audit plan Conduct follow-up reviews to confirm that significant audit exceptions are being corrected Prepare reports and analyses that highlight trends and communicate results to stakeholders Review peer work papers and coach and mentor fellow auditors (individual contributor role, no direct reports) Ideal Candidate Profile: 5+ years of internal audit or control assessment experience within banking or financial services Experience executing large, complex audits and a strong understanding of financial institution operations and regulatory requirements Advanced Excel skills, with data analysis tools such as ACL, IDEA, or similar a plus Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related quantitative field CIA, CPA, CFA, or CISA preferred.
