Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments to identify current abilities, limitations, and goals.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans aimed at restoring or improving functional independence for activities of daily living and mobility.
- Deliver direct OT interventions, including therapeutic activities, therapeutic exercises, and adaptive equipment recommendations; document progress and adjust plans as needed.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (nursing, therapy colleagues, social work, and rehabilitation staff) to optimize care, discharge planning, and transitions of care.
- Educate residents and families on home exercise programs, safety strategies, fall prevention, and activity modification; provide clear instructions and demonstrations.
- Ensure accurate charting, regulatory compliance, and timely communication of progress to the care team; participate in quality improvement initiatives as appropriate.

Requirements
- Active Occupational Therapy license (state-specific license in good standing; MT licensure or eligibility to practice in Montana as applicable)
- Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Ability to work effectively in a long-term care setting and in a collaborative, team-based environment
- Strong documentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to work a Monday–Friday schedule for a travel assignment
- Ability to pass required onboarding processes, including credential verification and background checks
