• Experience: Prior outpatient primary care experience preferred but not mandatory

What You ll Do:

• Provide outpatient primary care services to a diverse patient population
• Conduct health assessments, diagnose, and develop treatment plans
• Collaborate with team of physicians, nurse practitioners, and support staff
• Manage patient follow-up and coordinate with specialty services as needed
• Utilize on-site lab and radiology services to support patient care
• Participate in practice quality improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards

What You Need:

• Medical degree (MD/DO) from an accredited institution
• BC/BE in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• Alabama medical license or eligibility to obtain licensure
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently within a team-oriented environment

This position is based at a well-established outpatient clinic within a prominent healthcare community in Dothan, Alabama. The clinic has served the local community for over 70 years, providing comprehensive primary care in a supportive and collaborative setting. No inpatient responsibilities, with shared call duties. Practice hours and schedule offer a healthy work-life balance.
