Phlebotomist

Phlebotomist Location: Longmont PSC, 1950 Mountain View Ave., Longmont, CO 80501. Work schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, with rotational Saturdays. Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other tests. Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely. Process billing information and collect payments when required. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Minimum Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent. Preferred Qualifications Phlebotomy certification or completion of an accredited training program. Three months or more experience as a Phlebotomist. Additional Job Standards Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency. Ability to pass a standardized color‑blindness test. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently or in a team environment. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the Phlebotomy Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics. Pay range: $21.73 to $28.49 per hour.
