Gold Standard Auctions is seeking a professional, dependable, and customer-focused Customer Service Representative. This position will assist customers by answering phone calls and messages, resolving order-related concerns, and providing timely and accurate information.

The ideal candidate is an effective communicator who remains patient and professional while handling a high volume of customer inquiries.

Key Responsibilities

• Answer incoming customer phone calls professionally and promptly
• Respond to customer emails, website inquiries, marketplace messages, and other communications
• Assist customers with questions regarding orders, payments, shipping, tracking, auctions, and account information
• Research customer concerns and provide accurate, timely resolutions
• Coordinate with shipping, accounting, auction, and management teams when additional assistance is required
• Document customer communications, complaints, and resolutions clearly and accurately
• Follow up with customers to ensure unresolved matters are completed
• Escalate unusual, sensitive, or high-value issues to management
• Maintain a professional and helpful tone, including when working with frustrated customers
• Protect confidential customer, payment, and Company information
• Identify recurring customer concerns and report them to management
• Perform other customer service and administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Professional and confident telephone manner
• Excellent organization and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple conversations and priorities
• Comfortable using computers, email, messaging platforms, and order-management systems
• Ability to research problems and communicate clear solutions
• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic
• Ability to remain calm and professional in difficult situations
• Previous customer service, call-center, retail, e-commerce, or administrative experience is preferred
• Knowledge of coins, precious metals, collectibles, or online auctions is helpful but not required
