Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated RN ER to join our team on a travel assignment in New York, NY. This role specializes in providing emergency room care in a fast-paced environment. The position involves working night shifts where exceptional clinical skills and the ability to operate advanced medical equipment are essential.

Key Responsibilities of the RN ER

• Assess patients' clinical conditions, recognizing, identifying, and interpreting serious situations, prioritizing, and immediately deciding upon and taking proper action.
• Initiate appropriate measures in emergency situations when the physician is not immediately available.
• Operate and monitor general and specialized emergency care equipment such as infusion pumps and ventilators.
• Administer therapeutic measures as prescribed by the physician such as medications and IV therapy.
• Record observations, nursing interventions, and therapeutic measures administered.
• Document specific health care requirements for patients and coordinate team assignments.
• Plan and develop care delivery and coordinate documentation of care.
• Share responsibilities for maintaining adequate supplies and equipment as well as unit upkeep.

Requirements of the RN ER

• Minimum of 2 years of recent ER RN experience
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC (Mandatory)
• Vent experience
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task
• Aware of possible float to ICU and MS units
