Registered Nurse 2 On Call - OCC

Registered Nurse 2 On-Call (RN2) – Olympic Corrections Center Location: Forks, WA. Salary: $45.01-$73.79 per hour. Schedule: Variable. Responsibilities Be available to work all shifts (day, swing, graveyard) including weekends and holidays as requested. Provide written availability by the 10th of each month for the following month's coverage. Qualify for benefits by working 10 shifts a month. Complete a paid six‑week correctional worker core training (not required). Respond to all other requests for health care attention in a complete, timely, clinically appropriate and therapeutic manner. Delegate and supervise work, monitor, manage, coordinate, and deliver health care. Plan transition, make referrals, and arrange follow‑up when patients transfer or return to the community. Assist patients to improve their skills and ability to provide care for themselves and their family. Counsel, consult, teach, advise and provide health information that improves quality of health services and/or enhances safety and security. Qualifications and Experience Active and unencumbered license as a Registered Nurse in Washington State (or unencumbered multi‑state license that can be changed to WA within 60 days). One year experience working as a Registered Nurse. American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Eligibility to obtain a valid Washington State license to practice as a RN prior to employment. Completion of Suicide Prevention, EDIR training, and MLS demographic survey for multi‑state license holders. All other licensure requirements met as described. Shift Premiums Evening shift: $2.50 per hour. Night shift: $2.50 per hour. Additional: $1.00 per hour for hours 11:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m. Additional: $3.00 per hour for hours Friday midnight–Sunday midnight.
