Network Engineer

Salary: $71,000 - 111,000 per year Requirements:

• U.S. citizenship is required at the clients request.
• Associate degree required; bachelors degree preferred.
• At least 6 years of experience in network administration or network engineering.
• Strong knowledge of WAN/LAN, TCP/IP, Layer 2/3, DNS/DHCP, Wi-Fi, and firewalls.
• Advanced understanding of VPN technologies and encryption.
• Hands-on experience with routers, switches, wireless infrastructure, and security devices.
• Ability to work independently and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical users.
• Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, PMP, AZ-900, AZ-700, CWNA, or similar are preferred.
• Experience with large-scale campus networks, hybrid cloud, EVPN/VXLAN, or higher education environments is preferred.

• Lead wired and wireless network projects from initial design through deployment.
• Design, deploy, and support enterprise LAN, WAN, and Wi-Fi networks.
• Research and implement networking technologies and improvements.
• Coordinate major upgrades and outage response with internal teams and vendors.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot complex issues.
• Maintain accurate network documentation and configurations.
• Provide senior-level technical guidance and on-call support as needed.
