Radiologic Technologist (Flexi- As needed)

Overview Sentara Halifax Regional Hospital is seeking a Flexi (as needed) rotating shift Radiologic Technologist. Location South Boston, VA Work Shift Rotating Responsibilities Conduct general diagnostic radiological imaging studies of patients, within scope of demonstrated competency under the direction of a qualified physician. Performs Radiology Tech I responsibilities with addition of one of the following: Fluoroscopy or based in hospital/standing ED. Positioning of patient for demonstration of correct anatomy/pathology, operation of radiation producing equipment, operation of the electronic radiology systems, preparation of patient room/equipment/medications, and maintaining adequate supply inventory. Explains examination and procedure to patient and completes departmental documentation.
