About the Role
The Company is seeking a Managing Director for its Advisory Services. This role is pivotal in the development of the finance and accounting talent practice, with a focus on business development for interim leadership placements. The successful candidate will be responsible for owning the entire business development process, from identifying target accounts to closing new search engagements. This includes managing search execution from the client side, building and nurturing a network of hiring clients, and partnering with the Practice Lead to expand the client base. The role also involves representing the company at industry events and in the local finance and accounting community. Candidates for this position should have a strong business development track record, ideally within the finance and accounting interim leadership or search firm sector. Experience in managing search execution, particularly in finance and accounting roles, is highly valued. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a strong communication and relationship-building skill set, capable of operating with real autonomy in a lean, early-stage team environment. Knowledge of the Bay Area market or an existing local network is a plus. The role offers a ground-floor opportunity with a significant growth trajectory, direct mentorship from the founding Partner, and the autonomy of a lean team with the backing of an established national firm.
