Weekend Days Overview: Sentara is currently hiring an RN to work at Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital on the Cardiac Unit 2 West. Generous Sign On Bonus of up to 15K and Moving Allowance for Qualified Candidates! NEW GRADS WELCOME: $7500 Sign On Bonus for Qualified Candidates! Hours/Shift: Full-time, 12-hour dayshift. 36 hours per week, EVERY WEEKEND (Fri, Sat, Sun or Sat, Sun, Mon). Premium Pay included for working straight weekends. Department/Position Overview: 2 West Cardiac Medicine is a dynamic, 34-bed telemetry unit dedicated to delivering high-quality cardiac care. Our team works with hospitalists and cardiologists to care for the congestive heart failure, angina, STEMI/NSTEMI and arrhythmia patients. We recover patients who have just undergone cardiac catheterizations, pacemaker insertions, ablations, and cardioversions. Aside from the awesome care we provide, we have an amazing and diverse team of nurses and patient care technicians. We are committed to excellent patient care and patient satisfaction. We work well together as a team to take care of our patients, but also have fun and take care of each other. 2 West is a work of HEART and we would love for you to join our work family! - Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- RN-Diploma, ASN, BSN or MSN from an accredited school
