Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a difference in students’ lives as you provide vital physical therapy services to children from kindergarten through 12th grade in a dynamic educational setting. This contract position offers the opportunity to use your expertise in PT for schools, focusing primarily on compensatory services to support students in reaching their fullest academic and developmental potential.

Starting August 24, 2026, you'll join a collaborative environment dedicated to individualized interventions and multidisciplinary teamwork. Your role will span 5 days per week, totaling 37.5 hours, providing consistent care and meaningful impact.

Qualifications:

• Active physical therapy license for Virginia (VA PT license required)
• Experience or interest in serving K-12 students within a school-based setting
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Ability to adapt practice for diverse student needs and collaborate with educational staff

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver compensatory physical therapy interventions tailored to students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Conduct thorough assessments to establish baselines and track progress
• Collaborate regularly with teachers, other related service providers, and parents/guardians
• Maintain accurate records in compliance with district, state, and federal requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expert recommendations for accommodations and goals
