Job Description

The Registered Nurse provides professional nursing care in accordance with the Illinois Professional Registered Nurse Practice Act and established hospital policies and procedures. This role involves employing critical thinking skills, assessing patients' conditions, recognizing changes, planning and evaluating care, monitoring patients' progress, and recording pertinent observations. The Registered Nurse will also delegate appropriate patient care tasks to other staff members and function collaboratively as a team member to achieve unit goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in nursing or willingness to obtain within five years of employment
• Current state of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure
• At least two years of experience in an Emergency Room (ER), Emergency Department (ED), or Trauma unit
• Possession of or ability to obtain within three months: ACLS, PALS, NIHSS certifications
• TNCC certification is a plus
