Principal Platform Engineer

Position: Principal Platform Engineer We’re seeking a Principal Platform Engineer passionate about building resilient cloud platforms that drive real-world impact in healthcare. In this role you’ll architect secure, automated infrastructure in an FDA‑regulated environment, implement advanced CI/CD pipelines, champion infrastructure‑as‑code, and accelerate the development of cutting‑edge medical‑imaging SaaS solutions. Qualifications 7+ years of DevOps/SRE/Platform‑focused software engineering experience in an agile environment Expertise with at least one coding language (Ruby, Python, Rust, Go, etc.) Extensive hands‑on experience creating and supporting AWS environments using EC2, ECS, EFS, RDS, Redshift, VPC, Route53, etc. Experience developing infrastructure‑as‑code (IaC) with Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK, etc. Experience with containerization and virtualization (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS/Fargate, etc.) Experience building and/or maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CircleCI, etc.) Experience with infrastructure and application monitoring tools such as DataDog, NewRelic or similar. Strong organization, collaboration and communication skills. Work Location and Hours Based in our Boston, MA office; hybrid model with regular in‑office collaboration. Participates in on‑call rotation covering business days from 9:00 AM to 12:00 AM; rotation shared among team members and typically for 2–3 weeks per quarter. Salary Range Base salary range $170,000–$205,000, influenced by factors such as internal equity, experience, certifications, and geography.
