Key Responsibilities As a Physical Therapist at our clinic, you will take up essential duties including: Conducting comprehensive consultations with patients to assess their physical condition and specific symptoms. Diagnosing movement dysfunctions and crafting individualized treatment plans to enhance patient recovery and mobility. Instructing patients in effective therapeutic exercise techniques, ensuring they understand and can perform them correctly. Applying various therapeutic modalities, including manual stimulation and massage, to accelerate healing processes. Supporting patients in utilizing assistive devices such as wheelchairs or walkers, ensuring their safety and comfort. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records, tracking their progress, and adjusting treatment strategies as necessary. Providing families with in-home treatment options and exercises to foster their support in the recovery process. Patient Population / Client Focus Our clinic serves a wide-ranging patient demographic, including children and adults with a variety of diagnoses. Our team is dedicated to tailoring treatment approaches to meet the specific needs of each patient, whether they are recovering from surgery, managing chronic pain conditions, or rehabilitating post-injury. This position requires not only clinical expertise but also exceptional interpersonal skills to establish rapport and trust with patients and their families. Qualifications To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications: A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution. A valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey. Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective patient interactions and record-keeping. Proficiency in computer applications, including word processing and electronic health record systems. A flexible, agile mindset ready to adapt to the dynamic needs of our diverse patient population. Preferred Experience While not mandatory, the following experiences are considered advantageous: At least two years of experience working in a clinical rehabilitation setting. Experience with pediatric physical therapy or geriatric care. Familiarity with therapeutic modalities and patient management software. A background in patient education, emphasizing self-management and at-home care techniques. Compensation and Benefits This competitive position offers an annual salary ranging between $100,000 to $125,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
