This year, Allegion also received Gallup’s With Distinction honor — a designation reserved for a select group of organizations that go above and beyond in building exceptional workplace cultures.***What You Will Do:*** Receive, stage, issue, and deliver materials within the facility to support production schedules and customer orders.* Safely operate pallet jacks and other manual material handling equipment.* Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.* Accurately enter inventory transactions into ERP/MRP systems or scanning devices.* Perform cycle counts, assist with physical inventories, and report discrepancies to supervisors.* Inspect incoming materials for damage or discrepancies and maintain accurate inventory documentation.* Adhere to safety protocols, use PPE, and practice proper lifting techniques.* Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas and properly store tools and equipment.* Collaborate and communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, engineers, and quality control personnel to resolve issues and improve processes.* Demonstrate flexibility by working overtime when needed, cross-training in other areas, and adapting to new processes or technologies.* Other duties as assigned. **What You Need to Succeed:*** Education: High School Diploma or GED* Familiarity with material handling and material movement.* Basic computer literacy.* Ability to use proper lifting techniques and material movement equipment effectively.* Ability to be flexible in role, adjusting to new processes, technologies, or production requirements. **Physical Demands:*** Ability to handle material and parts.* Perform repetitive motions (bending, twisting, kneeling, stooping, lifting, gripping, and grasping with hands).* Standing Duration: Ability to stand for up to 10 hours per shift.* Perform repetitive motions (bending, twisting, kneeling, stooping, lifting, gripping, and grasping with hands).* Ability to work in environments with noise, chemicals, dust, sharp objects, moving/rotating mechanical parts, and temperature extremes. **Why Work for Us?****Allegion is a Great Place to Grow your Career if:** * You're seeking a rewarding opportunity that allows you to truly help others.
