Source One is a consulting services company and we’re currently looking for the following individual to work as a consultant for our direct client, an on-demand autonomous vehicle company in Foster City, CA.
* Candidates must be local and we are unable to work with third-party companies for this role.
Job Title: Recruiting Coordinator (Contractor)
Location: Zoox, Inc. in Foster City, CA 94404
Pay Rate: $40.57/hour (W-2)
Work Environment: In-person / Onsite
About the Role: Our client, an autonomous ride-hailing company, is seeking a highly organized and experienced Recruiting Coordinator to join its Talent team. The Recruiting Coordinator will support recruiters, sourcers, and hiring managers by coordinating a high volume of technical and non-technical interviews while providing candidates with a professional and positive experience. The role also involves improving recruiting processes, identifying inefficiencies, supporting coordination projects, and helping make recruiting operations more effective and scalable.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate onsite, virtual, and phone interviews for a high volume of technical and non-technical positions.
- Work closely with recruiters, sourcers, hiring managers, and recruiting administrators.
- Manage the onsite candidate experience by welcoming candidates and making sure interviews run smoothly.
- Serve as a key point of contact for the Recruiting Coordination team.
- Take ownership of recruiting coordination projects and initiatives.
- Identify inefficiencies in interview scheduling and recruiting workflows.
- Work with internal stakeholders to improve recruiting processes.
- Support operational excellence initiatives by analyzing data and gathering feedback.
- Help implement improvements that make recruiting operations more efficient and scalable.
- Build strong relationships with both candidates and internal business partners.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- 2–4 years of experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple competing priorities
- Recruiting coordination experience is preferred
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Strong customer-service mindset
- Ability to build rapport with candidates and internal stakeholders
- Ability to balance speed and urgency with careful attention to detail
Bonus Qualifications:
- Experience working with different Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
- Experience with interview scheduling tools
- Proficiency with Google Workspace
- Experience improving processes or coordinating recruiting operations
- Leadership experience or interest in future people-management opportunities
