Job Title: MRI Technologist
Profession: MRI Technologist

Shift: Rotating 14-hour days and weekends
Hours per Shift: 6:30 AM - 8:30 PM
Experience: Minimum 2 years
License: Valid license required
Certifications: ARRT (MR), BLS Certification
Must-Have: Candidates must have experience starting IVs
Description:
Background checks must be disclosed upon submission.
The department focuses on Radiology - MRI.
This position does not require floating to other areas.
Common imaging types performed include Routine Neuro, MSK, and Abdominal Imaging.
Specialty imaging includes cardiac, prostate, and breast studies.
The average number of scans is approximately 52 patients per day on weekdays and 27 patients per day on weekends.
Electronic medical record systems used in this department are EPIC and Synapse.
The department is equipped with Siemens technology.
Radiology supervisors and lead techs are available for support.
No registered radiology assistants are utilized in this department.
Radiologists are present in-house.
Candidates will be required to start IVs.
Self-scheduling is not available.
Weekend shifts are mandatory.
The position will require work on weekends.
No holiday work is required.
There are no on-call or standby requirements.
Scrubs must be navy blue, and scrubs are provided.
Department-specific orientation is offered.
Additional notes may be requested during the application process.
