Psychiatric Registered Nurse (RN) - Saturday's Required

Key Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' mental health status and medical needs.Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.Administer medications and monitor for side effects, ensuring patient safety.Provide crisis intervention and manage acute psychiatric episodes effectively.Educate patients and families about mental health conditions, treatments, and wellness strategies.Document patient progress, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the medical record.Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.Primarily MondayFriday, with open availability for occasional Saturday coverage as needed.Qualifications:Current and unrestricted RN license in TX.Minimum of [1-2] years of experience in psychiatric or mental health nursing preferred.Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (as required).Strong knowledge of psychiatric medications, behavioral health assessments, and crisis management.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.Benefits:Competitive salary.Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.401(k) retirement plan with employer match.Paid time off and holidays.
