We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our team in Franklin, Tennessee and help deliver responsive support and practical solutions for software and data-related challenges. In this role, you will work closely with clients and internal teams to investigate issues, identify root causes, and ensure timely resolution. This position is well suited for someone who enjoys analytical problem-solving, clear communication, and contributing to both day-to-day support and longer-term improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:
• Serve as an initial point of contact for client questions and issues involving software functionality, data accuracy, and application performance.
• Document incoming incidents, evaluate business impact and urgency, and drive each case toward an effective and timely resolution.
• Investigate complex problems by reviewing system behavior, analyzing data, and performing root cause analysis to determine corrective actions.
• Partner with internal technical teams and external stakeholders when escalation is needed, ensuring consistent follow-through until issues are closed.
• Stay informed on product updates, enhancements, and feature changes in order to provide accurate support and guidance.
• Contribute to requirement collection and support the delivery of approved change requests and application updates.
• Help develop business documentation, including requirement summaries, functional specifications, and impact assessments.
• Support project implementation activities by applying system knowledge and understanding of business processes.
• Maintain clear and current documentation related to incidents, resolutions, procedures, and support practices.• Bachelor’s degree in business, information technology, or a related field.
• 0-3 years of relevant experience in business analysis, application support, or a similar role.
• Ability to review and interpret application log files to support troubleshooting efforts.
• Experience investigating issues, identifying causes, and resolving problems in a structured manner.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach.
• Solid analytical and mathematical abilities with strong attention to detail.
• Proficiency with data analysis tools and technologies such as SQL and Power BI.
• Experience in a client-facing environment, knowledge of change management practices, or familiarity with energy markets and billing systems is a plus.
