Job TitlePay Range: $19.85hr - $21.26hrRequirement/Must HaveAbility to provide quality, error free work in a fast-paced environment.Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision.Excellent phlebotomy skills to include pediatric and geriatric.Flexible and available based on staffing needs, which includes weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.Must have reliable transportation to ensure consistent attendance.Ability to work scheduled shifts, maintain punctuality, and remain for the duration of the shift.Keyboard and data entry experience.ResponsibilitiesPerform daily activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor.Maintain a safe and professional environment.Perform both forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures.Maintain required records and documentation.Demonstrate organizational commitment and promote a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public.Draw quality blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for lab testing.Explain procedures to patients and draw blood specimens in a skillful, safe, and accurate manner.Demonstrate leadership behaviors while focusing on process excellence and sensitivity to confidentiality.Nice To HaveOne+ years phlebotomy experience preferred.Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred.Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.Phlebotomy certification preferred.SkillsPhlebotomy.Specimen Collection.Specimen Processing.Pediatric Phlebotomy.Geriatric Phlebotomy.Data Entry.Customer Service.Qualification And EducationHigh school diploma or equivalent required.Minimum of 6 months experience required.
