Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

School Psychologist

Location: Phoenix, Arizona
Position Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Early Release: Wednesdays
Contract Dates: August 3, 2026 – May 21, 2027

Peoria Unified School District is seeking qualified School Psychologists to join its student support team for the 2026–2027 school year. This position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse student population across elementary, middle, and high school settings while collaborating with educators, families, and support staff to promote student success.

Responsibilities:

-Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and assessments.
-Participate in eligibility, evaluation, and IEP meetings.
-Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student learning and well-being.
-Provide recommendations and interventions based on assessment findings.
-Assist in the development of strategies that support academic, social, emotional, and behavioral growth.
-Maintain accurate records and comply with district, state, and federal guidelines.

Qualifications:

-Valid School Psychologist certification/licensure.
-Previous experience in a school setting preferred.
-Strong assessment, consultation, and communication skills.
-Ability to work effectively with students across elementary, middle, and high school grade levels.
