Shepherd of the Hills Development LLC - Branson, MO 65616 Overview Position Type Full-Time/Part-Time Description The Cashier is responsible for delivering an exceptional dining experience to our guests by providing prompt, courteous, and attentive service. This position operates with a tip share/tip pool arrangement in accordance with company policy. Essential Functions The following duties are considered essential to this position. Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them clearly to the kitchen and drink staff. Serve food and drinks efficiently while anticipating guest needs and preferences. Provide detailed information about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods. Ensure tables are clean, properly set, and well-maintained throughout guests' dining experience both in the restaurant and dinner theater. Handle guest complaints or concerns gracefully and elevate issues to management when necessary. Process payments accurately and efficiently, including handling cash and electronic transactions. Adhere to tip share/tip pool polices and maintain accurate records as required. Collaborate effectively with kitchen and drink staff to ensure timely delivery of orders. Maintain knowledge of current specials, promotions, and menu changes to inform customers. Fill in and provide coverage across restaurant and dinner theater areas as assigned or directed by managers. Perform other duties assigned in support of the essential operations. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Required Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse clientele. Must be 18 years old or older Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong multitasking skills to manage multiple tables and orders simultaneously. Physical stamina to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts. Basic math skills to handle billing and payments accurately. Positive attitude, team-oriented mindset, and commitment to delivering outstanding customer service. Ability to work a varied schedule, including weekdays, weekends, holidays, and extended hours as necessary. Strong communication skills and the ability to manage conflict in a calm, guest-focused manner. Must successfully pass a criminal background check in accordance with company policy. Uniform/appearance standards Preferred Previous experience as a Server or in a customer service role within the restaurant industry is preferred.
