Company Description Additive Manufacturing & Engineering, Inc. (AME) is a metal additive manufacturing service provider with more than 25 years of NASA additive manufacturing expertise. The company operates some of the largest commercial Laser Powder Bed Fusion (LPBF) machines in Alabama, with build volumes up to 400mm x 400mm x 400mm. AME partners with customers to imagine, develop, and bring complex metal designs to life through advanced additive processes. The team supports applications ranging from space travel and transportation to marine and industrial uses. Role Description This full-time, on-site Business Development Manager role is based in Huntsville, AL. The person in this position will identify and pursue new business opportunities, cultivate relationships with prospective and existing clients, and expand AME’s presence in aerospace, defense, transportation, marine, and industrial markets. Daily responsibilities include researching target accounts, conducting outreach, preparing and delivering presentations, and collaborating with engineering and operations teams to develop proposals and pricing. The role also involves managing the sales pipeline, negotiating contracts, and tracking performance metrics to ensure revenue growth. The Business Development Manager will represent AME at industry events and engage with partners to promote the company’s metal additive manufacturing capabilities. Qualifications Demonstrated skills in business development, lead generation, and sales pipeline management. Experience with customer relationship management, including client outreach, account management, and partnership building. Ability to conduct market research, analyze industry trends, and identify new market segments. Strong communication and presentation skills, including preparing proposals and delivering technical and commercial pitches. Familiarity with manufacturing or engineering environments; knowledge of metal additive manufacturing or aerospace/industrial markets is highly beneficial. Proven negotiation and contract management capabilities, with attention to detail and commercial acumen. Comfort working cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and leadership to align customer requirements with production capabilities. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Ability to work on-site in Huntsville, AL, and travel to customers, trade shows, and industry events as needed. #J-18808-Ljbffr
