Patent Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm seeks a patent attorney or patent agent with five or more years of experience to join its Intellectual Property practice in San Francisco, CA. The role involves drafting and prosecuting U.S. and worldwide patent applications, requiring direct engagement with inventors and scientists. Responsibilities Draft and prosecute patent applications in the U.S. and internationally. Engage directly with inventors and scientists. Prepare patent applications for wireless telecommunications, including 5G/6G and WiFi. Collaborate with a team on various intellectual property matters. Requirements Five or more years of experience in patent law. Experience with wireless telecommunications, including 5G/6G and WiFi. Current experience preparing patent applications for Qualcomm preferred. Additional experience in power devices, analog circuits, medical devices, software, mechanical devices, or 3D printing is a plus. Education Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering.
