CUSTODIAL WORKER SUPERVISOR

About the Position: This position is located at Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton, San Diego County, California A Recruitment Incentive may be authorized. Advance Leave accrual may be authorized for candidates who are new to Federal Service. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Minimum Qualifications (Screen Out Element): Ability to do the work of a(n) CUSTODIAL WORKER SUPERVISOR ~ without more than normal supervision. I have the ability to perform common duties within a hospital housekeeping department. I can explain work requirements, methods, procedures; identify training needs to ensure employees are educated on regulations and techniques; ensure subordinates comply with established safety procedures ; ensure that adequate cleaning and housekeeping duties are completed; and assign tasks to be performed. - Failure to meet this Screen out Element will result in an ineligible rating. PHYSICAL EFFORT: Must move and control heavy equipment, carry and set up ladders and scaffolding, and work from ladders and scaffolds. Frequently, lifts moderately heavy objects (about 40 pounds). WORKING CONDITIONS: Works indoors most of the time and outdoors occasionally. Exposed to conditions inherent in cleaning tasks described such as chapped hands or other irritation from working with strong cleaning agents.
