Senior Private Cloud Engineer

By leveraging our highly experienced engineering teams, we help our customers by assessing, designing, providing a Proof of Concept (POC), implementing, selling and supporting a wide range of large-scale new information technology solutions. These solutions overcome critical business and technology challenges, as well as enable our customers to innovate in preparation for the future. Plan, implement and support our solutions at top level according to TeraSky best practices Installation and configuration of Private Cloud solutions as part of the project scope (HCI, Software Defined Network, etc.) Provide effective technical support and fault resolution with timely feedback to customers, adhering to Service Level Agreements Take ownership of patching and upgrade projects for private cloud environments in various organizations Testing new technologies, finding the appropriate use cases, and leading POC activities Keep up to date with private cloud solutions using documentation and LAB tests and maintain required certifications Work closely with other team members, solutions architects to provide the right solution to our customers Lead a comprehensive Health Check process, provide reports and be able to assess best practice deviation Virtualization specialist with 3-5 years working with VMware environments Demonstrated consulting skills, ideally through previous roles as a Consultant or Architect Designing and implementing VMware based architecture for SDDCs Ability to analyze and troubleshoot RCAs in virtualized environments Hands-on experience with vSphere, vSAN, SRM, vROPS, vRLI or Nutanix Experience with installing, updating, and managing physical racks: UCS, HP, DELL VCP-DCV Certified- highly preferred Strong verbal and written communication skills Highly motivated, team player and dedicated individual who is willing to learn and progress with today’s current Hybrid Cloud technologies Knowledgeable in configuring and understanding infrastructure networking and SDN (Cisco switches and routers, Juniper devices, FortiGate, NSX-V, NSX-T) - Advantage For applicants in the United States, the annual compensation range for this position is $140,000 to $170,000.
