CONSTRUCTION ADMINISTRATION REPRESENTATIVE

Fusco Personnel is currently recruiting for a Construction Administration Rep. to work in the Albany, NY area. Our client is growing and seeking a project representative who will be responsible for overseeing construction administration of multiple projects. 

Requirements:

• Extensive knowledge of building construction and experience with construction administration and observation
• Associate’s degree, technical training, and/or 5+ years of “on the job” training preferred
• Strong administrative and project management skills
• Ability to interpret construction drawings
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to visit job sites (in NYS - within 2.5 hours of Albany)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and pdf software required
• Ability to learn software as required to perform duties such as Submittal Exchange, Procore, etc.

Duties:

• Issue field observation reports for each site visit.
• Attend construction progress meetings and prepare meeting minutes as required.
• Review and approve payment applications.
• Review Requests for Information (RFIs), gathering data, and coordinating with Project

Manager to respond.  Note: RFI log is maintained by Project Management Coordinator.

• Coordinate with Project Manager to create and issue Requests for Proposals.
• Review contractor proposals and make recommendations to Project Manager for approval/rejection.
• Coordinate with consultants as it relates to their work.
• Generate punch lists, and subsequent review of completed items.
• Assist Project Manager with project closeout and Allowance Authorizations and Change Orders.
• Review drawing sets prior to bid (with approval from staffing).
• Assist Project Manager with bidding and negotiation (with approval from staffing).

Salary Range

$70-100k (based on experience)
