Overview Caregivers Needed! We are looking for caregivers to help care for clients (mainly fragile, ill, disabled, and/or elderly), one-on-one, in their homes. Job Title: Chief Happiness Officer (aka Caregiver) Location: Wherever the magic happens – our clients\' homes Pay: 4-12 hr shifts: $16.00 per hour. $1-$2 pay differential for short shifts (shifts 2-3 hours in length). Being a caring companion to clients, offering companionship, a listening ear, and support. Providing compassionate and personalized care to clients, ensuring comfort, dignity, and peace of mind. Assisting with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, with sensitivity and respect. Offering emotional support and companionship to clients and their families, creating a nurturing presence. Preparing simple meals and light snacks as appropriate. Assisting with household chores and errands with reliability and care. Maintaining positive spirits and engaging clients with conversation and camaraderie. Providing personalized care to meet each client\'s needs and preferences. Qualifications 18 years of age or older. A valid driver\'s license and vehicle. Willing to drive up to 30 minutes to reach clients\' homes. Ability to pass a criminal background check. Excellent communication skills with active listening and empathy. Understanding of the needs and challenges faced by patients and families at the end of life. Ability to turn everyday moments into meaningful experiences. Ability to find humor in challenging situations.
