About the Position
Job Title: Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor & Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery experience License: Active Illinois Nursing License Certifications: BLS, NRP, ACLS Must-Have: - Active Illinois Nurse Agency license - Recent Labor & Delivery experience Description: The Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse cares for women during labor and childbirth. The RN monitors the baby and the mother. The RN coaches mothers and assists doctors. The RN prepares women and their families for the stages of giving birth. The RN helps patients with breastfeeding after the baby is born. The Birthing Center averages 200 births per month.
