This high-level role acts as the technical authority, bridging complex business processes across the value stream. The ideal candidate will transform Aero Operations strategic objectives into business requirements defining the process elements of the product digital thread for manufacturing in collaboration with supply chain management, IT, Quality, E&T, Sustainment and the Digital Transformation Office for coordination with other functions.What You Will Be DoingLeadership: Lead the Operations functional system design, focusing on cross-functional optimization and providing vision to the Aero business for model-based and transitional (non-model) needs. Interact with senior personnel and senior management on significant technical matters, often requiring coordination between functions and other Lockheed Martin business areas.Hybrid Integration: Bridge the gap between 2D document-based solutions and 3D Model Based (MBD) solutions, leading data and solution transition initiatives.Business Requirements Translation:Collaborate with senior stakeholders to gather, analyze and translate complex business requirements into business system solutions and functional requirements.Team & Technical EnvironmentIntegral member of a cross organizational team of experts supporting the implementation of various production operations capabilities using the Siemens Xcelerator, SAP S/4 HANA, and Dassault 3DX tool suites.Participate in solutioning, development, documentation, training, and deployment of new Production Operations Business Processes associated with the implementation of the Xcelerator, 3DX tools, and S/4 HANA.Mentorship & Governance: Provide guidance and feedback to development teams during capability development and implementation.Who You AreYou are an expert technical leader with a collaborative mindset, strong analytical abilities, and a proven track record of translating strategic objectives into actionable PLM solutions. Serves as focal point for the development and communication of the system architecture. Ensures conversion of mission requirements into total systems solutions that account for design and technology maturity constraints of the system. Develops systems and system element architecture, design, and interface definition. Supports internal and external design reviews. Maintains knowledge of current and developing technologies and design and analysis methodologies. Develops models and architectural guidelines for current and future system development.Basic Qualifications• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to drive effective solutions in fast-paced implementation• Working knowledge of designing systems and architecture and their manufacturing applications• Experience working with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and the related integrations between these systems• Experience in Aerospace manufacturing systems, business processes, and/or methods with the ability to utilize that knowledge in developing a digital manufacturing system.• Strong interpersonal skills with operations technical concepts and non-technical stakeholdersDesired Skills• PLM (TeamCenter and/or 3DX) and ERP (OneAero, ERP4C, and/or S4/HANA) manufacturing applications with experience in Production Scheduling, Complex Assembly Bills of Material, Process Plan, Condition of Supply, Tooling, Configuration Management, and/or Workflow processes.• Cross-functional experience within the product digital thread• Work with cross-functional teams for best solutions to support the business• Ability to partner with IT teamPay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $182500.00 - $338900.00At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
