Advanced Gameplay Engineer

Seeking a full-time Advanced Gameplay Engineer to work remotely, this role will implement interactive games and experiences based on Disney's iconic characters, actively writing code and collaborating with design and production teams while primarily utilizing SceneGraph and Verse within Unreal Engine. Key responsibilities: Implement interactive games and experiences leveraging Disney's character portfolio Write code and collaborate daily with design, production, and art teams to achieve project goals Support designers during game development and advocate for player experience and team values Required qualifications: 8 years of experience in developing console/PC/mobile games or digital interactive entertainment Proficiency in Unreal Engine 4/5+ at the native (C++) level, with experience in legacy C++/Blueprint projects Hands-on programming experience in the creation and release of a major product Understanding of production-quality concepts including C++ performance, client/server architecture, and game mathematics Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and experience
