Employees in this classification perform technical, manual work. High school diploma or GED equivalent supplemented by previous experience and/or training involving water construction, maintenance and repair type work, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Must possess a valid Class A commercial driver's license or the ability to obtain within twelve (12) months of employment.Must pass a drug screen and background check.Must have Class C Texas Driver's License.Must obtain the National Incident Merit System (NIMS) certificate IS-100 and IS-700 within 6 months of employment.During storms or natural disasters, staff will be divided into two 12-hour shifts.
