Electrical Systems Engineer

Position Details Location: Littleton, CO or Houston, TX. Work Schedule: 9x80 with every other Friday off. Position type: Full‑time onsite (not hybrid). Shift: First. Business Unit: SPACE. Responsibilities Develop detailed electrical wiring schematics for data and power distribution layouts for Orion software/Hardware Test laboratories (ITL, VTB1/HOTH, VTB2/SSDL, CADE). Collaborate with subsystem engineers to define data, electrical loads, routing, and interface requirements. Manage lab test product drawings, procurements, procedures, and certifications. Support Artemis III and future missions with ITL requirements, design, and certifications. Basic Qualifications Electrical design work experience (harnesses, cables, electronic boxes, electrical systems). Fluency in ECAD applications and modeling tools such as Zuken E3. Experience in anomaly troubleshooting and problem resolution. U.S. citizenship required. Desired Skills Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience. Familiarity with Orion spacecraft architecture, subsystems, and Orion Flight Hardware architecture. Familiarity with space programs, flight specifications, and/or COTS electronic equipment. Harness electrical design experience. Experience in integrated avionics and software test environments. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills. Collaboration and teamwork experience. Demonstrated problem‑solving and troubleshooting abilities. Mechanical interconnect experience. Voltage drop analysis experience. Product lifecycle ownership/management. Pay and Benefits Pay Range: $89,300 – $157,550 annually (varies by state).
