This role is designed for professionals who prefer remote work settings while enjoying the camaraderie and collaboration of a dedicated mental health team. You'll be supported by experienced peers and access to the latest digital mental health tools and platforms that allow seamless communication and service delivery. The emphasis on minimal paperwork enables you to concentrate on patient care rather than administrative burdens, thus fostering a more rewarding professional experience.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, you will be entrusted with a variety of critical tasks that directly impact patient care and outcomes. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • \n
  • Managing a diverse caseload of clients while adhering to ethical standards and professional guidelines set forth by the National Association of Social Workers (NASW).
  • \n
Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LCSW will work primarily with hospice patients, including individuals with terminal diagnoses requiring compassionate end-of-life care. This entails addressing complex emotional and psychological needs not only for the patients themselves but also for their families, who navigate the difficult journey of loss and grief.

Qualifications\n
    \n
  • A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
  • \n
  • A current and valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Florida.
  • \n
  • At least 3 years of relevant clinical experience, specifically in delivering psychotherapy services within a healthcare setting.
  • \n
  • Proficiency in solution-based interventions and techniques, demonstrating an ability to tailor approaches to meet client needs.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to build trusting relationships with clients and their families.

  • Robust problem-solving capabilities, coupled with a critical thinking mindset, to navigate complex patient situations.
  • \n
  • A team-oriented attitude that fosters collaboration and supportive peer relationships.
  • \n
Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, experience in hospice or palliative care settings, along with familiarity with grief counseling and trauma-informed care principles, is highly valued and will be beneficial in meeting the diverse needs of our patients.

Compensation and Benefits\n

  • Reduced administrative workload through streamlined paperwork procedures, allowing more time for patients.
  • \n
  • Promotion of continuing education and professional development opportunities within the organization.
  • \n
