Speech Pathologist in Yakima, WA

Duties:

• Provide clinical services in speech pathology.
• Provide assessment, interpretation, and reporting of clinical observations.
• Perform patient assessments with physician and develop treatment plans.
• Perform and interpret results of video fluoroscopic swallow studies and fiberoptic endoscopic studies of swallowing.
• Confer with physician and other health care professionals on treatment plans.
• Communicate with patients, family members, and other health service providers regarding treatment plans.
• This position is performed 50% at Multicare Yakima Memorial Hospital and 50% at Yakima Ear, Nose and Throat Clinic.

Minimum Requirements:

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, or a closely related field
• Washington Speech Language Pathology license or eligibility for licensure
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Hearing-Language Association (ASHA) or be in the process of completing a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) with supervision by a CCC-SLP in accordance with standards defined by the ASHA
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or eligibility for certification

Salary offered: $50.09 per hour for an average of 40 hours per week.
