Overview The 2026 Summer Internship Program will start on June 1, 2026 and end on August 7, 2026. Location: Nome, Alaska and/or Anchorage, Alaska. Job Summary The Intern position will provide broad exposure to different departments while gaining experience and skills in a professional environment. The internship provides Sitnasuak Native Corporation shareholders and descendants with work experience and an opportunity to explore career options with Sitnasuak Native Corporation and its subsidiaries. A copy of an unofficial transcript(s). Qualifications Sitnasuak Native Corporation Shareholder and/or Descendant. High School diploma or GED. Currently enrolled in a college or vocational school. Minimum 2.0 cumulative grade point average. At least 17 years of age. Ability to pass a background check. Job Responsibilities Provide administrative and clerical support. Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of client, staff, and company information. Operate office machines including scanners, fax, copiers, and computers to complete assigned tasks. Create, copy, fax, organize and file documents as needed. Provide support on various projects as assigned by supervisor. Attend trainings and workshops. Compile data and prepare reports. Perform other tasks as assigned. Working Environment Majority of work is performed in a professional office environment requiring a high degree of efficient and effective performance. At times, and depending on the intern position, work is performed outside the office at indoor and outdoor job sites. Preference Statement Preference will be given to Sitnasuak Shareholders and their descendants and spouses, and to Shareholders of other corporations created pursuant to the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act.
