SR Load Supervisor

Load Supervisor Location: 615 Miami Avenue Kansas City, KS 66105 Hours: 3:00am - 1:00pm, Tuesday - Saturday (Inbound Shift) Responsibilities Oversee inbound operations for a 70‑door, cross‑dock freight facility. Load, manage forklift traffic, and supervise proper picking/sortation of palletized freight. Manage up to 30 local LTL drivers and dock personnel to meet the designated production schedule. Build loads based on available labor and freight levels, ensuring proper load of carriers by monitoring cube and weight. Provide leadership and accountability to a team of drivers, dock workers and dock hands. Monitor dock production, ensuring facility Key Performance Indicator goals are met or exceeded. Track hours and overtime compliance. Maintain a safe work environment compliant with state and federal DOT/OSHA standards. Ensure compliance with the company operational model and support a culture of excellence in product quality for internal and external customers. Qualifications Experience in transportation, cross‑docking, or shipping and receiving, preferably within the LTL industry. Familiarity with customs and cross‑border transportation. Strong leadership qualities and ability to supervise a diverse team. Commitment to providing customer excellence and high quality service. High aptitude for technology and use of digital tools. Strong multitasking abilities with a detail‑oriented mindset. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
