Location: San Francisco
Job Description:
Open for subcontractors
Must Have Skills:
- 7 years experience in all of the following tools/areas: Data bricks, dbt, Dagster, Elementary Data Modelling
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Strong data modeling: Conceptual, Logical, Physical
- 3NF Dimensional at both a project and enterprise level
- Dimensional Modeling with experience in crafting conformed dimensions that can be used across Business Units
- Experience working with Data Engineering and Data Analytics teams
- Understanding of principles and standard methodologies around Data Architecture
- Ability to write SQL to query data ideally ANSI SQL
- Solid grasp of Database technologies, techniques, and trends
- Experience with Snowflake experience a plus
- Experience with data governance and metadata management tools and standard methodologies a plus
- Experience in data engineering and data modeling for data warehouses and data lakes
- Knowledge in Banking and/or Financial services domain
- Experience in querying and profiling data sources
- Experience using any data modeling tool
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to explain Data structures to a nontechnical audience
- Results oriented with proven ability to work independently
- Good interpersonal, negotiating, and influencing skills
