About the Position

Job Title: CST/ORT Profession: Surgical Technician Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:45 - 15:15 Hours per Shift: 8 or 10 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Medical Technician License required Certifications: CST and BLS required Must-Have: Candidates must have general knowledge and skills to scrub for most surgical specialties. Description: VARIABLE SHIFTS - Either 8-hour shifts or 10-hour shifts. For 8-hour shifts: 06:45 - 15:15. For 10-hour shifts: 06:45 - 17:15. On weekends: shifts are 06:45 - 19:15 or 07:15 - 18:45. Holidays have the same schedule as weekends. Call is for 12 hours or 24 hours on weekends. 2 years of experience in a hospital setting is required. General knowledge and skill sets to scrub for most surgical specialties are essential. Preferred experience in Orthopedics, Trauma, Neurosurgery, General Surgery, Robotics, Podiatry, and Dental is an advantage. The best personality fit is friendly, professional, and self-motivated. Candidates without the required skills will not be considered for the role. Rotating weekends and call are required. The dress code consists of hospital-supplied scrubs.
