Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough mental health assessments to diagnose emotional and behavioral disorders, utilizing state-of-the-art telehealth tools.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans that align with clients’ specific needs and therapeutic goals, frequently adjusting these plans as necessary.
  • Provide a range of counseling services, including individual, couple, and group therapy sessions, tailored to client circumstances.
  • Equip clients with effective coping mechanisms and self-care techniques to help them manage their mental health outside of sessions.
  • Regularly monitor and evaluate clients' progress, utilizing telecommunication tools to maintain open lines of communication and feedback.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive approach to client care.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential electronic records of treatment plans, progress notes, and communication logs to meet ethical and legal standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will involve working with a diverse client population, including individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and grief. You will help clients navigate through various life challenges and emotional obstacles, guiding them toward healthier coping strategies and emotional resilience.

Qualifications

  • A Master’s degree in counseling or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Current state licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) is required.
  • Proven experience in providing therapeutic services to individuals, couples, and groups.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients remotely.
  • An empathetic and non-judgmental approach, allowing for an open and supportive therapeutic relationship.
  • Ability to work independently while being an active participant in a team-oriented environment.
  • Willingness to maintain a flexible schedule to meet clients’ varying needs and preferences.

Preferred Experience

  • Familiarity with telehealth practices and platforms, ensuring a seamless transition from in-person to remote counseling.
  • Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems to manage client information efficiently.
  • Specialized training in certain therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges between USD 70,000 and 90,000 annually, depending on experience and caseload. Counselors will also benefit from a steady influx of client referrals facilitated by our marketing efforts, along with comprehensive assistance with billing and documentation to enhance your focus on client care.
