Estimator

The ideal candidate will be responsible for appropriately evaluating the cost of a project, and evaluating the cost to take on that project. The candidate will emphasize competitive advantages and will be able to communicate those to our benefit throughout the bidding process. LCG’s installation products and services includes: curtain wall systems, rainscreen systems (i.e. composite, formed and plate panels, terracotta, Trespa phenolic panels, dimensioned stone), weather barriers, and exterior insulation. Responsibilities Produce accurate and profitable estimates based on labor, material, and time requirements dictated by relevant plans, proposals, scope, and specifications Resolve cost discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information Develop and maintain relationships with quality contractors, architects, and suppliers to facilitate project negotiations and identify business development opportunities Obtain accurate quotes for materials and systems to establish accurate cost estimates Write thorough and professional proposals addressing product scope description for each section of work bid including all project specific exclusions, qualifications, and clarifications Qualifications Bachelor's degree in construction management or equivalent vocational experience Solid understanding of estimating strategies and techniques Familiarity with project plans and technical data Experience estimating medium to large size and scope projects 3+ years' of construction estimating experience, preferred glazing Proficiency with the following software: Bluebeam Revu, Microsoft Suite, and Cutlist+ Annual salary range 50,000-70,000 (depending on qualifications) Medical, dental, vision insurance options and Health Savings Account (with company HSA match) 401k (traditional or Roth) with up LCG 100% match up to 4% of gross contribution #J-18808-Ljbffr
