Travel RN – CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room)

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM) | On-Call Required | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a circulating RN in a cardiovascular and general operating room environment, facilitating cardiac, thoracic, vascular, orthopedic, neurological, urological, gynecological, plastics, and trauma surgical cases
• Provide skilled circulating support for complex procedures including Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG), Mitral and Aortic Valve Replacements, AAA repair, Fem-Pop Bypass, and thoracic vascular cases
• Perform general circulating duties including patient positioning, surgical prepping, and case facilitation across all assigned surgical specialties
• Utilize robotic surgical systems including the XI Robot and Mako joint robot as required by case assignment
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech electronic documentation system
• Participate in on-call rotation including 3 call shifts (12-hour) per 4-week schedule, with every-other-weekend and holiday rotation shared with facility staff

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of CVOR or cardiovascular surgical experience
• Demonstrated thoracic and vascular experience including heart and valve replacement procedures
• Strong skills in Cardiac (CV/PV), AAA, CABG, Fem-Pop Bypass, and Mitral or Aortic Valve Replacement cases
• Proficiency in general circulating knowledge including patient positioning, prepping, and case facilitation

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience circulating in Ortho, Neuro, Plastics, Urology, and Robotic OB/GYN cases
• Familiarity with robotic surgical platforms (XI Robot, Mako)
• Experience with Meditech documentation system
• Familiarity with AIDET patient experience framework
