Endocrinology Physician

Position: Board-Certified Endocrinologist Location: Dothan, Alabama Overview: VHS is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Endocrinologist for a full-time, outpatient-only position in Dothan, AL. Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive outpatient endocrine care at a single clinic location, with no inpatient or hospital responsibilities. Manage a diverse patient population presenting with endocrine disorders, including diabetes, thyroid diseases, osteoporosis, and hormonal imbalances. Collaborate closely with a team of primary care physicians, nurse practitioners, and ancillary staff. Utilize onsite laboratory and radiology services to facilitate prompt diagnosis and treatment. Participate in precepting medical students and residents, contributing to the training of future healthcare providers. Maintain accurate documentation and ensure adherence to clinical protocols and quality standards. Qualifications: Medical degree from an accredited institution. Board certification or eligible in Endocrinology. Valid state medical license or ability to obtain licensure in Alabama. Proven experience in outpatient endocrinology preferred. Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care. Compensation & Benefits: Competitive base salary complemented by additional compensation for after-hours call duties.
