Paul Logistics is hiring a Driver Recruiter to lead the way in building our professional driver team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and onboarding experienced truck drivers who align with our safety and performance standards. You'll work closely with leadership and operations to ensure our recruiting efforts keep pace with company growth while providing an excellent candidate experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Source qualified CDL-A truck drivers through job boards, referrals, social media, and industry platforms (e.g., Tenstreet, Driver iQ)
• Screen applications and conduct initial phone interviews to assess qualifications, safety records, and experience
• Schedule and coordinate in-person or virtual interviews with qualified candidates
• Guide drivers through the onboarding process, including background checks, drug screening, and compliance documentation
• Maintain accurate candidate records and provide regular reporting on recruitment activity
• Build strong relationships with prospective and active candidates, creating a positive and professional recruiting experience
• Stay current on industry hiring trends and competitor activity to refine sourcing strategy
• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company hiring standards
• Support weekend driver needs, including arranging hotels or transportation when necessary
• Collaborate with operations, safety, and leadership to ensure recruiting aligns with fleet goals

Requirements

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of recruiting experience, preferably in the transportation or logistics industry
• Familiarity with DOT regulations and commercial driver compliance standards
• Experience using Tenstreet, Driver iQ, or similar recruiting platforms
• Proven ability to source, interview, and hire qualified drivers in a high-volume environment
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with candidates and internal teams
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
• Flexibility to work occasional weekends or after-hours to support urgent driver needs
• High ethical standards and a commitment to maintaining compliance and fairness in the hiring process
