About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Philanthropy and Community Engagement to lead the design and execution of a comprehensive, multi-year fundraising strategy. The successful candidate will be a senior executive with a proven track record in donor development and fundraising, including the cultivation of major donors and the management of a comprehensive donor lifecycle. This role is pivotal in advancing the organization's growth, financial sustainability, and mission impact, and the Vice President will be responsible for strategic oversight of all philanthropic initiatives, from major gifts to long-term revenue diversification. The role also involves serving as a visible ambassador, guiding the evolution of the organization's philanthropy culture, and expanding the donor base to regional and national levels. Applicants must have a minimum of 7 years' experience in donor development and fundraising, with a strong emphasis on strategic planning and the ability to lead a team to achieve annual fundraising targets. Exceptional relationship-building skills, high-level communication, and experience in serving as an organizational spokesperson are essential. The Vice President will work closely with the Board of Directors and executive leadership to enhance board engagement, strategic giving, and diversity in board participation. A mission-driven, forward-thinking, and analytical leadership approach is required, along with the ability to take calculated risks and proactively solve complex challenges. Familiarity with CRM and donor database systems, as well as experience with various fundraising strategies, is also necessary.
