Oral Surgical Assistant

Valley Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery PA, located in Hawthorne, NJ, is seeking a part‑time Surgical Assistant to join a busy specialty practice. You must be able to work Tuesdays and Fridays. Responsibilities Prepare the surgical area, instruments, and equipment before each procedure. Assist the surgeon during procedures by anticipating needs and providing assistance as required. Keep surgical areas and instruments clean and sterilized. Monitor and record patient vitals and ensure patient comfort and safety. Prepare and provide post‑operative instructions and materials to patients. Perform other duties as assigned by the surgeon or office manager. Background & Qualifications No experience required, but preferred; we will provide training. Understanding of health & safety regulations. Ability to perform regulated non‑surgical tasks. Excellent communication and people skills. Strong attention to detail. Well‑organized and reliable. High school diploma (or equivalent). Benefits 401(k). Paid Lunch.
